// TEAM BOOSTER

Target

“Go to open source” is an initiative by Lexart for companies that lack the means to develop their own software or maintain their existing software, to do so through the open-source community.

We have over 50 developers from around the world within the program ready to tackle tasks. Additionally, we have a team of senior maintainers ready to review deliveries before they reach the main codebase.

// CONDITIONS

Requirements and selection

Requirements
>
The software must have a minimum annual budget of USD 1500.

>
The software owner must agree to open its code publicly one year after participating in the program.

>
Bugs and additional functionalities beyond the initial budget should increase the budget.

>
The pro gram operates on a "pre-paid" basis; the software owner must pay the minimum annual budget, which will be deducted from the delivered functionalities.

>
Community developers will not deploy anything to the project owner's servers.

>
Any developed or corrected functionality will be exclusively validated by the maintainers. If the software owner was not clear or specific enough in detailing the task, this is not the responsibility of the open-source team.

>
Once the functionality is delivered to the main codebase, there is no guarantee associated with the delivered code.

>
Any disrespectful or conflicting behavior by the project owner towards the community will result in permanent banning from the program without any refund or intellectual property associated with the deliveries.

Selection
>
Express your interest as a partner to open.source@lexartlabs.xyz.

>
A 45-minute interview to discuss the project.

>
Have the project stored in a GIT repository.

At LEXART, we cultivate

The maintainers fee and community structure amount to 15% of the project’s annual budget.

Tasks will be divided based on the annual budget balance minus fees. Before starting the project, a spreadsheet will be provided with rewards and associated costs for the software owner to give the OK to begin.
